Sometimes we long for the simple things, because we realize how precious those moments and things are to us. Sometimes simple is goes a longer way than all the glam and fuss. Here we look at achieving that effortless relaxed look by pairing some denim shorts with a fairly simple blouse and we keep it so natural by letting the accessories be of earth tone colors. Isn't simple magical!

So in this segment of How 2 Wear, I wanted to use basic pieces and create great wearable looks. Here I highlighted the tapestry print skater skirt. Floral prints are part of the 'in thing' when it comes to fashion but they are usually in brighter hues than the ones used here. I wanted to illustrate the usage of a toned down floral print skirt in two settings and make the looks cool and casual but also demure.
The first look is great for day time outings or running errands, I love seeing oxford flats with skirts. The second look is great for evening gatherings or those elegantly casual events, a blazer definitely adds some deeper definition to the whole look.  These looks are absolutely worth the try!

So today you are about to host a company event. The plan is to not be too casual but still keep a sense of professional, after all these are your bosses and clients in attendance. Well how about trying a sleek color block look with a little bit of glitz. Here we took those fun blue wide leg trousers and paired with a yellow blouse with pleated detail. Let's not forget those red pumps we added just to give the outfit a little daring interest. Gold accessories and a neutral toned bag help bring each element of color nicely together.
Now we are event ready!!

This look is definitely cool and calm while still being feminine.  Maxi skirts are a hot trend these days and are definitely easy to wear and move around in. Who knew errands could be so easy!
